Canoeing
Location: the Rhine river

Participants: 15 people, as requested
The tour will begin with a bus shuttle to the Sürther boathouse (approximately 30 minutes). A briefing about the canoe tour will take place during a leisurely refreshment drink.
Then, everyone will bring the canoes down into the water together. In each canoe there is room for 6 - 7 people, whereby one place must be reserved in each canoe for both an experienced stroke-person and steer-person. Special care will be taken for the safety of all of the guests.
Now your guests will experience the Cologne panorama from the ‘fish-eye perspective’. The tour will take you past the Chocolate museum, Rheinau Docks, and the old city towards the Rhein park under the numerous Cologne bridges. Approximately 15 km in 1.5 - 2 hours.
Throughout the canoe trip, the participants in each of the canoes must fill out a questionnaire. The questions are amusing and informative and serve the exploration of the river banks, but they are not always to be taken seriously. Following the arrival at the Rhein park, everybody will help to get the canoes out of the water again and load them onto the trailer. Naturally, each participant will be awarded a paddle-diploma. Subsequently, the questionnaires will be evaluated and the best teams will be chosen (of course, the evaluation of the questionnaires can be integrated into the evening agenda, instead)!
